The DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfer process is currently very popular as the preferred option for textile transfer.

Provide a compliant file:

- Maximum printing width 55 cm

- Minimum required file size: 100 x 55 cm

- The minimum line widths must be 0.6 mm or 1.75 Pts

- The resolution must be at least 300 dpi

- Minimize the number of extraneous pixels by cleaning up the file

- File in readable orientation (do not import mirrored)

- Avoid sheer fabrics

- Make sure your file has no background, that the layers are unlocked, and that no layers are hidden in the file.

ATTENTION:

Our white underlay will be automatically reduced or thinned by 0.1 mm under all the colors present. For a logo or text in white only, it will also be reduced by 0.1 mm.

Your files will be produced as is, without any verification by our services. No after-sales claims can be made if these criteria are not met.

 DTF: the cheapest and ultra-resistant transfer method

This technique allows for the printing of four-color process visuals on a polyester film, and requires the application of a white undercoat and powder adhesive. Once printed, the transfer is heat-pressed using a professional heat press. DTF is particularly elastic, giving it exceptional resistance. It does not crack due to its extensibility and resists daily wear and washing. All images are possible and do not require a border.

The DTF transfer process is particularly suitable for basic textiles such as cotton or polyester. It is characterized by a more pronounced thickness and a slight rigidity compared to a screen printing transfer.

DTF printing does not allow for an exact Pantone color match, as it is a four-color process, unlike screen printing. It is impossible to add an anti-migration undercoat.

ADVANTAGES OF DTF TRANSFER:
DTF allows for an infinite amount of detail and color, as well as gradients. All images are achievable with DTF transfer and no lacing is necessary. It can be applied to both light and dark clothing, cotton or polyester.

The DTF technique uses a process that employs water-based inks, giving the transfer excellent flexibility and elasticity, thus ensuring remarkable comfort and durability of the design on the textile. LIMITATIONS OF DTF TRANSFER:
Since DTF printing is done in four-color process, the colors are not obtained using screen printing inks, and it is therefore impossible to obtain an exact Pantone shade. It is also impossible to add an anti-migration undercoat.

Attention:

The final result depends on the quality of the provided file; images must therefore be at least 300 dpi. Do not include hidden elements in the files sent. After PAO processing, these would be printed.

Screens do not perfectly reflect printed colors, so there may be a slight color shift when printing your transfers.

It is recommended to provide a file that is 1 meter in length, or a file corresponding to the total length desired for your order.

Cutting:

The cut is made to match the ordered surface area. Therefore, you will receive the product in a roll, according to the requested length.
